Hannah has been Katie’s best friend since 7th Grade. Katie and Hannah had every class in middle school and high school together. Katie and Hannah followed each other to Auburn University and shared a dorm room, or what some people called a room at the Ritz, their freshman year of college. Growing up, there was not a vacation that the Brannen's went on without taking Hannah. Katie loves that Hannah is supportive, extremely dependable, carefree, and humorous. Hannah has always been Katie’s partner in crime, and can decode “Katie Language”. Luckily for Katie, Hannah moved back to Atlanta from Denver, just in time to do the wedding legwork
Anna Bryan
BRIDESMAID
Anna and Katie have been friends since they were sixteen. In high school, Katie skipped a day of school to plan Anna’s surprise sixteenth birthday party with Anna’s mom. Anna is loving, generous, and well rounded. Anna and Katie went to Auburn and moved back to Atlanta together. Anna is Katie’s guru on all things related to fashion, spas, and health. If Katie has mud on her face and is not eating anything solid, Anna is right there next to her.
Catherine Cook

Catherine is Katie’s god sister. Catherine has been in Katie’s life since Katie was one week old. Catherine and Katie were next door neighbors until she moved to Athens, where Katie visited every summer. Katie describes Catherine as energetic, friendly, ambitious and extremely organized – even more so than she. As Nick Saban’s assistant for four years, Catherine’s Fantasy Football teams will put a smile on any groomsmen’s face.
Danielle Darling

Danielle and Katie met riding horses when they were twelve, and have been best friends ever since. Danielle and Katie were captains of the Woodward Academy football cheerleading team together, and spent five years in gymnastics and dance studios. Katie admires Danielle’s discipline, strong faith, and sincerity. Danielle has recently moved back to Atlanta, and has embarked on her hardest challenge yet: being Katie’s personal wedding trainer.
Mary Holby

Mary is Terry’s youngest sister, and currently living in Nashville. Mary is formally known as “Sweet Mary McGuirk”. Ironically, Katie and Mary took gymnastics together in elementary school. Katie says, unfortunately she was “too busy jumping on the trampoline to notice Mary’s hot older brother.” Katie describes Mary as thoughtful, fearless, and positive. Mary always lights up every room.
Camille Mallery

Camille was Katie’s roommate in Atlanta after they both attended Auburn University. Katie describes Camille as easy going, humble, and compassionate. Camille is the only person in the world that is more social than Katie. Her positivity is infectious! Camille was among witnesses to Katie and Terry’s first date, and has been along for the ride ever since.
Pearson Mathews

Pearson “Put Your Shoes On” Mathews and Katie have been friends since elementary school. Katie and Pearson grew up in Vinings, trick-or-treated together, and were constantly at the Cherokee pool and snack bar each summer. Pearson and Katie went to Auburn University, and moved back to Atlanta together. Pearson is in Katie’s bible study group, is her go-to tennis partner, and is her life long friend.
Missy Maude

Missy is Terry’s younger sister, and currently lives in Atlanta - walking distance from Katie. Missy is spontaneous, ambitious, beautiful, and creative. Katie and Missy bond over their love of shopping, traveling, interior design, spa days and television shows. Katie is thankful for Missy’s wedding planning advice, friendship, and her sense of humor.
Meggie Middendorf

Meggie is Terry’s big sister who lives in Washington D.C., and is a mother of four children under the age of four. Meggie inspires Katie to be kind, patient, sincere, and godly. Meggie is truly a saint and Katie’s role model! Katie and Terry will definitely be taking advantage of Meggie’s master’s degree in counseling for relationship and future parenting advice.

Mary is the matchmaker of the decade! Mary and Katie have known each other since middle school, but have become best friends over the last four years in Atlanta. Mary is Katie’s full time stand up comedian and life coach. Katie describes Mary as talented, clever, and genuine. If you cannot get a hold of Katie, call Mary. You can count on Mary to be by Katie’s side for all pre-planned adventures and last minute trips.

Katie and Kelly met four years ago at Buckhead Church, and have been inseparable ever since. Katie is thankful that Kelly brings her to the foot of the cross daily. Kelly is as beautiful on the inside as she is the outside. Katie values Kelly’s guidance, wisdom, and energy.

Katherine and Katie met sophomore year at Auburn University in textile class through the College of Human Sciences. Katie says she would not have passed that class if it were not for Katherine diligently putting together Katie’s book of three-hundred fabric swatches. Katherine is driven, modest, and confident. Katherine has and is continuing to inspire girls of all ages to make the world a better place.

Terry Senior has been Terry’s coach, golf partner, and number one supporter for the last 30 years. Terry describes his dad as generous, loyal, and wise. Terry is extremely blessed to have his dad serve as his role model and most importantly, best friend. Terry senior is currently the McGuirk grill master and the best crossword puzzle solver inside the perimeter!

Beau, also know as “The Other Twin Tower,” is Terry’s golf buddy since junior high school. Beau and his fiancée Allison Sheats introduced Terry and Katie. He is Terry’s future business partner and lifelong friend. To make a vacation plan for Terry, Katie would probably need to call Beau for Terry’s social calendar and a list of all country club member-guest tournaments.
Austin Brannen

Austin is Katie’s younger brother or as Katie would say “her second father”. Hands down she would refer to him as “Atlanta’s most eligible bachelor”. Terry describes Austin as generous, down to earth, and protective. Most importantly, Austin has warned Terry about everything that irritates Katie. You can find Terry and Austin bonding over casinos, golf, hot tubs, and basketball.
Grayson Gordon

Grayson and Terry have been friends since they were little and met at the Piedmont Driving Club Pool. Grayson was Terry’s former roommate in New York. Grayson has always been Terry’s personal stand-up comedian and he never fails to make everyone in the room laugh. Terry and Grayson also share a mutual love for rap music. You will know Grayson when you meet him this December – count on it!

Neil is Terry’s brother-in-law, married to Mary. Neil is a star athlete, a future doctor, movie expert, and currently the best spike ball player we know. Terry says you can always count on Neil to beat you in any competition in life. Neil and Mary set a high standard for what Katie and Terry want for their marriage.

Terry and Mark have been close friends since the 7th grade when Mark came to Westminster. Mark and Terry played basketball and spent every summer together in Sea Island growing up. Terry meets Mark for lunch at least once a week at New Yorker Deli because it’s the half-way walking point between their offices.
Tug Maude

Tug is Terry’s bother-in-law, married to Missy. Tug is the family chef and a golf connoisseur. Tug is by far the best conversationalist we have ever met! Tug is very social and knows more people in Atlanta than we do. If you are drinking a “Mount Gay and Tonic” at the McGuirks, make sure you have Tug make it -- and cancel your morning plans!
Harrison Merrill

Terry likes to refer to him as “Captain Harry.” Terry and Harrison have been friends since they were toddlers. They have gone on many family trips and fishing adventures together. Growing up, Terry always had Harrison as his “Wing Man”. Fortunately for everyone, the boys survived their years of “Bike Wars”. Harrison is Terry’s go to casino buddy for life.
David Middendorf

David is Terry’s brother-in-law, married to Meggie. David is the father of the year (every year), always cleans his dinner plate, a board game master, and a true “do-it yourselfer.” David is flexible, resourceful, and extremely observant. If Katie and Terry were deserted on an island, they both said they “would choose to be stranded with David.”
Justin Palmer

Justin was Terry’s “buddy” when Justin came to Westminster his junior year of high school. Terry says that he was “caught off guard when Justin quickly became more popular” than him. Terry and Justin were the golf team captains in school, and nearly won the Piedmont Cup at the Driving Club last year. Justin and Terry are always up for an adventure.
